\u2013 Die Mandva f\u00fcr den Br\u00e4utigam mit Pitty<\/p>\n
\u2013 Kanyadaan \u2013 das Weggeben der Tochter durch den Vater<\/p>\n
\u2013 Panigrahana \u2013 ein Ritual in Gegenwart von Feuer, bei dem der Br\u00e4utigam die Hand der Braut als Zeichen ihrer Vereinigung nimmt<\/p>\n
\u2013 Saptapadi \u2013 ist das wichtigste Ritual.<\/p>\n
Es wird das Sieben-Stufen-Ritual genannt, bei dem jeder Schritt einem Gel\u00fcbde entspricht, das der Br\u00e4utigam der Braut ablegt, und einem Gel\u00fcbde, das die Braut dem Br\u00e4utigam ablegt.<\/p>\n
Die Gel\u00fcbde werden in Sanskrit in langer Form oder k\u00fcrzerer Form ausgesprochen, manchmal auch in der Sprache des Br\u00e4utigams und der Braut.<\/p>\n
Bei vielen Hochzeiten wird Saptapadi in der N\u00e4he eines Feuers durchgef\u00fchrt; und nach jedem der sieben gegenseitigen Schw\u00fcre f\u00fchren der Br\u00e4utigam und die Braut das Ritual von Agnipradakshinam durch \u2013 gehen um das Feuer herum, wobei die Enden ihrer Kleidungsst\u00fccke zusammengebunden sind.<\/p>\n
Der Br\u00e4utigam f\u00fchrt normalerweise die Braut beim Gang an.<\/p>\n
[12] Das Feuer ist eine Form von Yajna \u2013 ein vedisches Ritual, bei dem Feuer das g\u00f6ttliche Zeugnis (f\u00fcr die Hochzeit) ist.<\/p>\n
[6] Nach Saptapadi gilt das Paar als Ehemann und Ehefrau.<\/p>\n

– Saptapadi – is the most important ritual. It is called the seven step ritual, where each step corresponds to a vow groom makes to bride, and a vow the bride makes to groom.<\/p>\n
The vows are pronounced in Sanskrit in long form, or short quicker form, sometimes also in the language of the groom and bride.<\/p>\n
In many weddings, Saptapadi is performed near a fire; and after each of the seven oaths to each other, the groom and bride perform the ritual of agnipradakshinam – walk around the fire, with the end of their garments tied together.<\/p>\n
The groom usually leads the bride in the walk.<\/p>\n
[12] The fire is a form of yajna – a vedic ritual where fire is the divine witness (to the marriage).<\/p>\n
[6] After Saptapadi, the couple are considered husband and wife.<\/p>\n
