We aim to work closely with our partners, clients, and staff to ensure tourism contributes positively to Kenya\u2019s sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our sustainability policy is structured around the following 10 key themes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Sustainability Management &amp; Legal Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are committed to responsible management and compliance with national laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We commit to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Appointing a Sustainability Coordinator responsible for implementing sustainability initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a mission statement that is communicated to staff and customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintaining a written sustainability policy accessible to staff, clients, and partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring and improving our sustainability performance regularly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring transparency in sustainability actions and communicating them publicly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encouraging all staff to understand and support sustainable tourism practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complying with all Kenyan tourism regulations and environmental laws.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Internal Management: Social Policy &amp; Human Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We promote a fair, safe, and inclusive workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We commit to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Providing fair wages equal to or above national minimum wage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring employment contracts clearly state duties and working conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing paid leave, sick leave, and safe working conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting equal opportunities regardless of gender, race, religion, age, disability, or background.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting training and professional development for employees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respecting human rights and not tolerating discrimination or harassment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We commit to practice human rights by ensure the enforcement of following practices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To declare not to hinder trade union membership, collective labor negotiations and representation of members by trade unions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.
